Overview

The Centre Universitaire de Formation Permanente (CUFP) is a continuing education institution within the University of the Comoros system, created to support lifelong learning and professional upskilling in Comoros. CUFP offers flexible learning options for people who are already working or who need targeted training to move toward a new role or responsibility.

CUFP strengthens local human resource development by running evening classes, weekend programs, and short-term intensive courses. The center works with government ministries, private sector organizations, and international partners to identify skill gaps and build practical training solutions. Many participants come from mid-career professions in public administration, education, and healthcare, with courses that are designed to be immediately useful in the workplace. If you’re comparing higher-education pathways across the islands, you may also want to review the University of the Comoros.
