Overview

Ardhi University (ARU), located in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, is a distinguished public institution dedicated to land, built environment, and socio‑environmental studies. Its roots date back to 1956 when it began as a Survey Training School, progressing through the phases of Ardhi Institute and University College under the University of Dar es Salaam, before receiving independent university status in March 2007

ARU offers a rich portfolio of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs spanning architecture, planning, engineering, real estate, geomatics, informatics, environmental science and management, community development, economics and finance.
