Overview

The University of Montenegro (Univerzitet Crne Gore) is the country’s premier public higher education institution and the largest academic center in Montenegro. Established in 1974, it has grown to encompass 19 faculties and 3 research institutes across multiple cities. As the only public university in Montenegro, it plays a pivotal role in the nation’s education system, research activities, and cultural development.

The university offers a comprehensive range of academic programs while maintaining particularly strong faculties in economics, law, engineering, and marine sciences.
