Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (LUANAR) is Malawi’s premier institution for agricultural education and research, established in 2011 through the merger of Bunda College and the Natural Resources College. Located in the capital region, LUANAR plays a critical role in developing Malawi’s agricultural sector through innovative teaching, research, and outreach programs. The university specializes in sustainable agriculture, agribusiness, environmental management, and food security – key areas for Malawi’s economy.
