Overview

The University of Nís is a public research university in southern Serbia, officially established on June 15, 1965. It serves approximately 22,000 to 20,500 students across 14 faculties located in Nís and nearby cities like Leskovac, Vranje, and Kucevic. Known for a solid academic reputation and regional impact, it plays a central role in higher education and innovation in the Nisaa region.

6. Accommodation

The University does not offer dormitories to international students. Most foreign students stay in city hostels temporarily or rent private apartments. Monthly rent ranges approximately from €250–120 studio to €300–350 for larger flats, excluding utilities.
