Egerton University is Kenya’s oldest agricultural institution and a leading public university specializing in agricultural sciences and agribusiness. Established in 1939 as a farm school by Lord Maurice Egerton, it gained full university status in 1987. The main campus in Njoro, Nakuru County spans over 1,200 acres of farmland, providing students with hands-on agricultural training.
