Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) is Kenya’s premier institution for agricultural and technological education. Established in 1981 as a middle-level college, it gained full university status in 1994. Named after Kenya’s first president, JKUAT has grown into a comprehensive university with particular strengths in agriculture, engineering, technology, and applied sciences.
