Tajik National University (TNU), located in Dushanbe, is the oldest and largest higher education institution in Tajikistan. It was established on March 21, 1947, and has developed into a premier national university offering a broad spectrum of academic disciplines. Over two decades, the university has grown into a hub of education, culture, and science, recognized as the flagship institution in the country

The university currently enrolls over 22,600 students, including a small but growing number of international learners. TNU comprises 19 faculties offering bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral programs in nearly 98 fields of study. It is especially noted for its strengths in medicine, economics, international relations, science, engineering, law, and humanities
