Overview

Universidade Eduardo Mondlane (UEM) is Mozambique’s oldest and most prestigious higher education institution, founded in 1962 in Maputo. Named after the first president of FRELIMO, the university serves as the country’s primary center for academic excellence, research, and technological innovation.
