Overview

Universidade Eduardo Mondlane (UEM) is Mozambique’s oldest and one of its most established higher education institutions, founded in 1962 in Maputo. Named after Eduardo Mondlane, a key figure in the Mozambican liberation movement, the university has grown into the country’s leading hub for academic excellence, research, and technology-focused training.
