The University of Duhok (UoD), established on October 31, 1992, is a public university located in Duhok, within the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. Initially founded with two colleges—Medicine and Agriculture—the university has expanded significantly over the years.

As of recent data, UoD comprises 19 colleges and 67 departments, offering a diverse range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The university serves approximately 22,942 undergraduate students and is supported by around 1,827 academic staff members.
