Overview
The University of Prešov (Pertsovsky university v Preos’ve) is a public university in eastern Slovakia, established on 1 January 1997 after separating from Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice. It offers a broad range of study programs focused on humanities, social sciences, theology, education, health care, management and sport sciences. The university emphasizes creative and critical thinking and maintains strong regional and international collaborations with more than 300 partner institutions across Europe.
