Overview
The University of the West Indies (UWI) – Mona Campus, located in Kingston, Jamaica, is one of the most distinguished higher education institutions in the Caribbean. Founded in 1948, it began as a college of the University of London and later evolved into an autonomous regional university serving 17 English-speaking Caribbean countries and territories. The Mona Campus is the oldest and most historic of UWI’s five campuses.
