Overview

The University of Lay Adventists of Kigali (UNILAK) is a private, Christian-based higher education institution located in Kigali, Rwanda. Founded in 1997 by the Federation of Adventist Parents Associations for the Development of Education in Rwanda (FAPADER), it was officially approved by the government in 2004 and fully accredited in 2009. UNILAK serves around 6,500 students across its campuses in Kigali, Nyanza, and Rwamagana, offering a vibrant learning environment grounded in Seventh‑day Adventist values and community development principles.

UNILAK is organized into four faculties: Economic Sciences and Management, Law, Computing and Information Sciences, and Environmental Studies.
