Overview

Ndejje University is a private Christian university in Uganda, established by the Anglican Church in 1992. It received its charter in 2009, making it the oldest private chartered university in the country. Located primarily at Ndejje Hill in Luweero District, about 42 km north of Kampala, the university spans two campuses—Main and Lady Irene—and serves over 12,000 students across undergraduate and postgraduate programmers. Ndejje offers courses in faculties such as Business, Engineering, Education, Arts, Sciences, Environmental & Agricultural Sciences, and a Graduate School. With multiple campuses and flexible intake options, the university remains one of Uganda’s fastest-growing institutions

  • Private hostels such as Ndagire (non‑self‑contained ≈ UGX 400,000; self‑contained ≈ UGX 450,000 per semester)
