Overview

Uganda Christian University (UCU) is one of Uganda’s best-known faith-based private universities, established in July 1997 by the Church of Uganda. The main campus is in Mukono (about 25 km east of Kampala), with additional campuses in Kampala, Kabale, Mbale, and Arua. Today, UCU supports thousands of learners through programmes built around Christian values, practical skills, and academic excellence.

UCU is organized into multiple schools and faculties, including Business & Administration, Education, Law, Engineering, Medicine, Dentistry, Journalism, Social Sciences, Theology & Divinity, Agricultural Sciences, and Public Health, Nursing & Midwifery.
